What's New · 9.40.1

This update focuses on making the app run more smoothly overall. Ad delivery and search results have been enhanced, along with audio playback and landing pages. AI creation features received refinements, including better wallpaper support. The release also fixes duplicated items, improves image aspect ratios, resolves some account-related issues, and addresses minor bugs for a more stable and reliable experience.

This app is ideal for Android users who enjoy frequently customizing their device's look and sound, from casual users wanting a fresh background to enthusiasts who want to create entirely unique ringtones and AI-generated art. It is well-suited for those who appreciate having a massive, centralized library of content and do not mind an ad-supported experience with optional purchases, though privacy-conscious individuals should review the requested permissions carefully.

To get the most out of the AI tools, start with clear, descriptive prompts for the AI Wallpaper Maker and Audio AI. If you are concerned about privacy, you can deny the Contacts and Camera permissions; the app will still function for browsing and downloading standard wallpapers and ringtones, though the AI photo filter feature will be unavailable.

Zedge provides a massive library of personalization content coupled with novel AI creation tools, making it a versatile choice for refreshing a device's look and sound. Users should carefully weigh the extensive customization options against the privacy implications of its permission requests and the presence of advertisements and in-app purchases.
